The current preparation flow
You can explore destination briefings and build a free preparation plan without providing a name, email address, or phone number. Passport selection means the passport nationality you travel with; the composer does not ask for a passport number or a copy of your passport.
The plan uses your chosen destination, passport nationality, devices, and any optional role, activities, or dates you enter to tailor preparation guidance.
What your browser remembers
A passport chosen while browsing a country page is temporary page state. An explicit action to open the composer can carry that choice across within the current browser runtime.
Building a plan stores its trip profile in your browser. Saved demo trips and checked preparation tasks also use browser storage. These local records do not provide cross-device synchronization or an authenticated private account.
Your local choices
You can change your plan selections and use any available trip deletion controls. To remove all locally stored Trefeo information, clear trefeo.com’s site data in your browser settings. This can remove saved plans and checklist progress and cannot be undone through the demo. Private-browsing sessions may discard their local records when the session ends.
Locally stored information remains until it is changed, removed, or cleared by the browser. People using the same device and browser profile may be able to access it.
Website analytics
Trefeo uses an external, cookie-free website analytics provider to understand website usage. In the current configuration, that provider records page URLs, referrers, browser and device information, language information, and usage events. Its documentation says it derives approximate country and city from IP addresses, discards raw IP addresses, and resets visitor-counting identifiers each day.
Website activity, including visiting a destination page, can therefore reach the analytics provider. Local trip storage and website analytics serve different purposes.
Hosting and other websites
An external hosting and website-delivery provider processes technical request information to deliver the site. This information can include IP addresses and traffic information. Our reviewed retention and logging arrangements will be described in the finalized policy.

As Trefeo develops
Account storage, authentication, payments, notifications, and trusted-contact sharing need their own clear explanations before launch. The planned use of generated account IDs does not make account-linked information automatically anonymous.
The finalized policy will identify the operator, a privacy contact, applicable rights and request procedures, lawful processing grounds, and provider retention and transfer arrangements. Those details remain under review for this demo.
